REWATCH CLASSICAL CONCERTS

Our Classical Series 2022-23 Season Finale concert of Notes from New York, Manhattan Skyline, was incredible! It featured works by Grieg, Liebermann, Montgomery, and Respighi. Jeffrey Biegle performed the Concerto in A Minor masterfully. To finish this beautiful and heartfelt concert, Dr. Nell Flanders surprised us with a sneak peak of what we can expect in next season's lineup.

Brooklyn Bridge was our fourth classical series concert of the Notes from New York 2022-23 Season. Our guest artist was the winner of the ISU Concerto Competition, Jaden Klein. She performed Chopin's Piano Concerto in F Minor, Op. 21 Allegro vivace. Jaden is such an amazing pianist and played this piece beautifully. Please enjoy this concert again or, for those who couldn't make it, hope you find yourself entertained for the first time.

Our second classical series concert of the 2022-23 Season - Notes from New York, Central Park, includes works by two celebrated American composers, Aaron Copland and Samuel Barber, both with deep ties to New York. We are thrilled to welcome the talented and engaging Madeline Adkins, concertmaster of the Utah Symphony, to perform the solo part of Barber's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra. Jean Sibelius's compelling Second Symphony completes the programming.

Opening night of the 2022-23 Season, Meet Me in New York, brought much excitement with the debut of our new Conductor and Artistic Director, Nell Flanders, and our very own Shandra Helman as guest soloist, performing the world premiere of Edward Smaldone's composition, Murmurations: Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra.
