Audition Information

2022 - 2023 Season

Audition Date: Saturday, August  20, 2022

Time: 8:00 - 4:00 pm (Winds in the morning & Strings in the afternoon)

Location: Idaho State University, Fine Arts Building (Goranson Hall)

Who is Required to Audition?
 - All ISU and area HS students wishing to be a part of the ISCS must audition annually for placement.
 - All new community members.
 - Any players wishing to be considered for our vacant principal positions.
​​​​​​​ - All returning community players are encouraged to audition for the new artistic director so that we know how to best rotate you into the section.

We will be hearing scheduled auditions for section rotation consideration for all string and wind sections, and any sublist considerations. Principal auditions will be scheduled in 20-minute time slots.  Section auditions will be scheduled in 10-minute time slots. Please prepare the requirements listed below.
