Amy Boese
Violin
Amy Boese is the principal second violin with the Idaho State-Civic Symphony and the conductor/artistic director for the ISCS Youth Orchestra program. She is also music educator in the Pocatello School District. Ms. Boese spent six years abroad in Bangkok, Thailand, where she served as concertmaster for the Bangkok International Community Orchestra and Bangkok Charity Orchestra, was an active chamber musician and taught at the International Community School. She also taught in Music for Life, a program to bring free music education to the residents of the Klong Toey community. She holds a Master's degree from Colorado State University in music education with a Kodály specialization and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota in violin performance and music education.
