J. Curtis Thompson

J. Curtis Thompson is a multi-instrumentalist, dedicated to providing quality guitar education to the students of every age.
In 2011 he received his bachelor’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Idaho State University. Here he performed with the Idaho State Civic Symphony and the Idaho State Summer Repertoire on numerous occasions.
At Northern Arizona University, under the tutelage of Tom Sheeley, Curtis received his master’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance in 2014. In addition to his studies, he was also the director of the NAU Guitar Ensemble.
Since graduating, Curtis has performed in multiple ensembles in Seattle, New York, Arizona, and Idaho. In addition to these performances, he taught guitar, banjo, ukulele, and bass in Seattle for a number of years.
