About ISCSYO
We are very excited to welcome Jan Eddington as the new ISCS Youth Orchestra Conductor/Artistic Director! She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for working with young musicians. We are also happy to announce that Maggie Price will be joining the ISCSYO as Assistant Conductor for fall 2022 semester!
The Idaho State-Civic Symphony Youth Orchestra (ISCSYO) provides Southeast Idaho's most dedicated music students with opportunities to develop their technical musicianship by playing challenging repertoire in a professional format. Regular rehearsals and concert performances provide young musicians with important life skills needed to prepare them for future opportunities and cultivate artistic growth and excellence through enriching orchestral experiences. The ensemble rehearses Tuesday afternoons at ISU's Stephens Performing Arts Center and performs two concerts each season. Young musicians who take part in the program consistently rate it as a positive, educational, and fulfilling experience.
The 2022-2023 Youth Orchestra season will see a return to a full orchestra in the spring semester.
