Pre-concert Forum
Please join us at 6:30 on each concert night except the family concert for a pre-concert forum about that evening's performance with Maestro Chung Park moderated by ISCS Board President Dr. David Parry. The maestro will discuss about what he loves about the music and take questions from audience members during these forums. Special guests may include soloists, ISU faculty members and other music lovers. Come early also to enjoy the stunning ambience of the magnificent Stephens Center for the Performing Arts while having a glass of wine, beer, coffee or a soft drink. We will also be serving delicious desserts and chocolates so come early, visit with friends and make it a full evening out at the symphony!
Master Classes
The Idaho State Civic Symphony sponsors master classes with most of our visiting artists. Master classes are usually on Thursdays before the Friday classical concerts. For specific information regarding any of the visiting artists or if you know of an advanced student who would like to participate, please contact Sue Parker at 208.234.1587.
