We will also be hearing scheduled auditions for section rotation consideration for all string and wind sections, and any sublist considerations. Principal auditions will be scheduled in 20-minute time slots.  Section auditions will be scheduled in 10-minute time slots. Please prepare the requirements listed below.


Who is required to audition?  Anyone auditioning for a principal chair, all new community players, all new and returning students, and any community members looking for different rotation consideration.

  2. In the attached PDF, there are three experts from Beethoven’s 7th Symphony and one from Dvorak’s New World.  Each excerpt is marked the beginning and end with a star and a number. Please note that in the Dvorak there are three stars and all numbered 4.  We will just use the passage in the first and second star.
